The Role

The Associate Director, Digital Strategy - Medical/Access/PSS & Paid Media will serve as the lead digital strategist across our Medical, Market Access, Patient Services and commercial media efforts in the US. This critical role reports directly to the Senior Director of Digital Strategy and will be expected to work across assigned customers within our US lines of business as well as with key cross-functional support teams and alliance partners (as appropriate).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the overall strategic direction of our commercial paid media efforts as well as influence the overall customer engagement plans in key areas of our business. Success in this role will require deep digital and omnichannel experience, strong media planning and channel execution experience, marketing & data operations knowledge, and an understanding of the pharma/biotech and oncology space.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the paid media lead and business partner to US Commercialization teams, key cross-functional support teams, and alliance partners (as appropriate)
  • Seamlessly integrate media planning and execution strategies into our overall omnichannel & product brand plans
  • Shape media & tactical plans, pull through prioritized tactics, and become immersed in the overall brand vision & strategies set by Genmab leadership
  • Become the steward of media data by ensuring data is prioritized in our planning efforts, measurement plans are aligned accordingly, and that it is utilized to further enhance and optimize our omnichannel efforts
  • Ensure perspectives from key stakeholders (Ops, Privacy, Data Science, Regulatory, IT) are accounted early and often
  • Spearhead novel & innovative ways of working with 3rd party partners in the spirit of delivering the ideal customer experience
  • Stay abreast of industry & media trends and promotional opportunities and promote best practices across Genmab
  • Define Key Performance Indicators and report up through appropriate channels
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and all key deliverables aligned launch readiness and brand annual planning


Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10+ years of professional relevant experience required (Pharma/Biotech)
  • Oncology/hematology/solid tumor marketing and/or relevant therapeutic areas experience preferred
  • Deep digital, media & omnichannel execution experience across core channels required
  • Thorough understanding of the cross-functional interdependencies needed to successfully execute complex omnichannel efforts
  • Demonstrated knowledge of media operations, marketing operations, data operations, and data privacy
  • Experience with leading marketing technologies in support of web/mobile/app experience, automation, performance & insight generation, and compliance
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Resourceful, decisive, and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization
  • Startup, emerging pharma, or new team experience preferred

Where you will work

  • This position is a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Princeton, NJ office.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$147,200.00---$220,800.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
