The Role & Department

With a clear strategy of becoming an integrated end-to-end biotech innovation powerhouse, Genmab recently started to market and sell their own products within cancer treatment. Expanding its focus to being directly vested in the commercialization of the company’s products, we are now looking to further strengthen the Commercial Supply Chain team in Denmark.

Genmab is looking for a Senior Manager, Warehouse and Logistics Europe, to join the Commercial Supply Chain team. In this new role you will work to support and strengthen the further commercialization of Genmab’s portfolio. You will play a key role in implementation, qualification and validation activities of our 3PL, warehousing and logistics suppliers to enable the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products to patients worldwide.

The Senior Manager, 3PL Warehouse and Logistics Europe, will become a part of the Commercial Supply Chain department. A department that currently employs 18 people in Denmark and US.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Serve as a primary contact for the European 3PL service provider and warehouse suppliers. Own the relationship and influence, advise, and coordinate operational efforts across their warehouse operations.

  • Coordinate the inbound and outbound logistics, including freight, warehousing, and distribution activities at the 3PL partners in Europe.

  • Lead Genmab’s implementation, qualification and validation activities at the 3PL service providers.

  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with the suppliers and ensure cost and quality effective services.

  • Monitor and evaluate the supplier performance while ensuring contractual and company standard compliance.

  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to implement new technologies and strategies that enhance service quality and identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and reduce costs.

  • Liaise with internal teams, including procurement, quality, finance and planning to align logistics activities with business objectives.

  • Assess and mitigate risks related to transportation, warehousing, and supply chain disruptions.

  • Support the maintenance and operations of Genmab key systems such as ERP (SAP) in relation to the 3PL service provider and support implementation of enhancement testing and validations.

  • Work with Quality Assurance to maintain GXP compliance throughout the warehouse and distribution network.

  • Ensure oversight of the order to cash processes related to the EU 3PL activities and liaise with the accounting and finance teams to ensure smooth data transfers, month closures and inventory accuracy.

  • Own customer related processes and ensure compliance with finance and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Master in related field from either University or Technical University.

  • At least 5 years of bio-pharmaceutical industry experience.

  • Experience in pharma warehouse management and order to cash processes required.

  • Experience working with corporate partners and alliance management.

  • Fluently in English, both verbal and written.

  • Project and/or people management experience are beneficial.

  • Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP.

This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is hybrid.
