The Role & Department

Genmab is looking for a committed, curious, and conscientious Student Worker to join our dynamic Communications & Corporate Affairs Team.

In this role, you will bring your enthusiasm and creativity to help us engage colleagues and external stakeholders across Genmab, mainly our colleagues in Denmark supporting our local internal and external communication strategy for Genmab DK.

As a Student Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting internal and external communication activities. From crafting articles for our intranet, Everyday, to posting on our internal social channel, Viva Engage, and curating content for our social media and Genmab.com.

You will be a valued member of our global Communications & Corporate Affairs team of 22 passionate colleagues based in the United States, the Netherlands, and Denmark. Together, we are responsible for social media, Internal Communication, Product Communication, Branding, Public Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Patient Advocacy. This team sits within the Communications & Corporate Affairs department, which serves as the strategic voice of Genmab.

We are four team members located in Denmark. You will report to the Associate Director, Communications & Corporate Affairs, based in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities Include

Your primary tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing and editing engaging articles and producing videos for our internal channels, including our intranet Everyday, Viva Engage, and info screens as well as Genmab.com

  • Ensuring all communication platforms are current and impactful.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather content for key presentations and events, such as the monthly local town hall and local events.

  • Handling license agreements and organizing folders to keep our workflows seamless.

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline existing processes.

  • Supporting campaigns with ideas, surveys, interview guides, and innovative concepts.

  • Taking on projects on ad hoc basis that align with your interests and competencies.

Requirements

  • You are studying on the last year of your Bachelor's degree or on your Master’s degree in Corporate Communications, Media & Journalism, or a related field.

  • A passion for storytelling, media, and journalism – bringing fresh perspectives and ideas to our communications.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Danish proficiency is an added benefit.

  • You are proficient in MS Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • You have a knack for utilizing AI in your work – Genmab has ChatGPT corporate licenses among other AI tools.

Practical Details

This role is located in Valby, Denmark, and we expect you to work 15-20 hours per week with flexible hours to fit your schedule.
