The Role & Department
Genmab is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Drug Supply Manager to join our Global Clinical Drug Supply Operations team.
As Senior Clinical Drug Supply Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality clinical trial supplies for both early and late-stage trials. In addition, this position offers significant influence over the refinement of Genmab’s processes, both within the GCDS Operations team and cross-functionally to ensure scalability.
It is expected that you will take lead of strategic initiatives, mentor colleagues, and resolve complex operational challenges. A key focus of this role will be supporting team members through troubleshooting, problem-solving, and developing mitigation plans for complex issues related to packaging and labelling activities. This role requires balancing urgency and importance in a dynamic environment while serving as a positive role model for the team, by bringing a strong can-do attitude to drive solutions and inspire others.
You will join a highly competent global team focused on packaging and labeling clinical trial supplies, collaborating closely with the Global Clinical Drug Supply Planning team. Together with the Global Clinical Drug Supply Systems team, these groups form the Global Clinical Drug Supply department. You will be reporting to Director, Global Clinical Drug Supply in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Main Responsibilities Include
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful collaboration.
Supervise and monitor vendor performance, ensuring delivery aligns with timelines and SOW.
Provide direct support to team members in troubleshooting and problem resolution, ensuring effective development of mitigation plans for operational challenges.
Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Lead complex GCDS Operations projects within the area of clinical drug supply management.
Oversee inspection readiness and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage operational trial and project objectives, providing proactive oversight to meet goals.
Develop, maintain and implement SOPs for drug supply processes and manage cross-functional collaborations.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area (e.g., pharma, science, engineering, or supply chain management).
Come with + 7 years of demonstrated ability managing clinical drug supply, including label text setup, ancillary handling, and cold chain management.
Proven experience working with CMOs for clinical trial supplies, including vendor management.
Ability to lead cross-functional projects with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
Collaborative, proactive, and goal-oriented team player who inspires colleagues while fostering strong relationships.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Extensive knowledge of GMP, GDP, and GCP regulations.
Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
The position will be based in our Copenhagen or Princeton site, which require onsite presence 60% of the time as per our hybrid policy.
