What you have to do
- Lead project management activities in Japan, focusing on the strategic development of project process plans and high-level negotiations with internal stakeholders and clients
- Drive project progress by implementing effective tracking mechanisms and delivering comprehensive reports to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and timelines
- Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to gather business requirements, providing strategic consultation to stakeholders and enhancing project outcomes tailored to the Japanese market
- Assist in all testing phases, including integration testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as well as various implementation activities
- Manage the financial health of the project, including budget control and reporting
- Provide clear, professional documentation and communication to senior leadership and project teams
- Oversee customer handover documentation and ensure a smooth transition post-acceptance. Maintain ongoing communication with customers during the maintenance phase to foster strong relationships
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Robotic Automation, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of solid project management experience, demonstrating a successful track record in managing large-scale projects in the IT, construction, logistics, and/or 3PL sectors within Japan.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and WMS; familiarity with IT infrastructure is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on implementing best practices to ensure successful delivery of large-scale initiatives
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Japanese (minimum N2 level)
