We’re looking for a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Associate Partner Marketing Manager to support, and help grow and scale our strategic providers. The Associate Partner Marketing Manager role is dedicated to accelerating growth for our providers by offering strategic guidance and marketing expertise. We work closely with each provider to craft impactful initiatives that engage both the AppDirect internal team and our broader advisor community.
This cross-functional role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and Provider Management, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on execution, process optimization, and growing strategic partnerships.
In this role, you’ll participate in sponsorship program creation, selling and executing and managing day-to-day program management. You’ll work collaboratively to keep timelines on schedule, maintain high standards of delivery, and provide clear, timely updates to necessary stakeholders.
What you'll do and how you'll have an impact:
- Provider Communication & Consultation: Lead regular cadence calls with providers, articulating complex program details and nuances. Advise providers on the best opportunities within AppDirect to achieve their marketing and business goals.
- Execution & Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of providers, managing the end-to-end delivery from planning execution and ROI measurement. You’ll coordinate timelines, cadence calls and deadlines; enforce branding and content standards; coordinate event registration and pre-event preparation and onsite logistics (speaker preparation, logo placement, etc.) and optimize Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to maximize sponsor value and program ROI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across Marketing, Sales, Events, and Training teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of provider commitments.
- Program & Campaign Management: Partner with providers to develop and coordinate content for joint, multi‑channel initiatives (web, email, newsletters, content, events, training). Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to launch integrated campaigns that align messaging, timelines, and KPIs to program priorities and business goals.
- Sponsorship Selling: Support the annual sponsorship sales cycle by preparing materials, presenting program structure and value to prospective and returning providers, and coordinating outreach. Drive revenue through upsell and cross-sell efforts by tracking outreach and provider interest, and sharing actionable learnings and best practices across the team to improve consistency and conversion.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple concurrent providers with varied deliverables: prioritize tasks, coordinate cross-functional owners, and mitigate risks to meet deadlines. Maintain MDF or coop tracking (commitments, sales, collections) in project/CRM tools to ensure financial and delivery accountability.
- ROI Articulation: Leverage marketing and engagement data from tools like DOMO and HubSpot to quantify performance, translate metrics into clear ROI narratives, and deliver actionable recommendations that help providers optimize their investment.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor key metrics and team KPIs, and translate insights into tactical changes that improve campaign performance, impact and sponsor ROI.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in end-to-end partner marketing or campaign planning through execution of Provider/Partner/Sponsor marketing programs including:
- Being the primary point of contact for providers/partners.
- Defining scope, developing detailed timelines, establishing clear deliverables, and driving optimizations based on analytical results.
- Project coordination, program operations, and/or project management with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex, varying deliverables simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of what constitutes a well-rounded marketing partnership and the strategy required to execute a partner marketing sponsorship.
- Preferred experience in a B2B environment, ideally within the MSP, IT, Marketplace, SaaS or Telecom channel.
- Direct experience managing co‑op or equivalent partner-funded co‑op programs is highly preferred. Including MDF, budgeting, claims/claim submission, reconciliation, compliance, and working with partner portals and account/channel teams.
- BS/BA degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex marketing strategy and objectives, influence internal and external stakeholders, and adapt priorities based on feedback and business needs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail with proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Events.)
- Comfortable with analyzing marketing data, understanding key metrics, and the ability to grow into an individual who can strategically articulate ROI.
- Proactive, answer-first mindset: takes ownership, anticipates issues and follows through to resolution.
- Familiarity with monday.com or other work-management platform preferred.
