<p><strong>About The Role</strong></p> <p>The Finance Manager will support the Financial Controller in overseeing the company’s financial reporting, month-end close, and finance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthening finance processes, and managing a team of accountants across multiple entities.</p> <p>The role requires strong accounting expertise, hands-on experience in financial close and audit processes, and the ability to manage operational finance activities in a fast-paced fintech environment.</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Lead the end-to-end month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all group financial statements are accurate and delivered on schedule.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,1,0">Guarantee strict adherence to IFRS/FRS accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory reporting requirements across all entities.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,2,0">Act as the primary liaison for external audits, managing the preparation of technical accounting analyses and ensuring the timely resolution of audit queries.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,3,0">Partner with Tax and Compliance teams to deliver accurate data for MAS submissions, transfer pricing documentation, and annual tax filings.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,4,0">Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a culture of high performance through rigorous review of work and professional development.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,5,0">Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and standardizing workflows to optimize closing timelines and operational efficiency.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,6,0">Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to strengthen financial data pipelines and ensure the accuracy of revenue and cost recognition.</li> <li data-path-to-node="3,7,0">Support the Financial Controller on ad-hoc projects, variance analysis, and financial insights to guide leadership in strategic decision-making.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="2,0,0">6-8 years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting, ideally with a background in Big 4 audit or a high-growth FinTech/Tech environment.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,1,0">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA) is highly preferred.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,2,0">Expert knowledge of IFRS / FRS accounting standards, with a proven track record of leading month-end closures and managing complex external audits.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,3,0">Prior exposure to payment infrastructure, FinTech platforms, or Blockchain/Web3 ecosystems is a significant advantage.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,4,0">High proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for complex financial data analysis.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,5,0">Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data integrity and the ability to provide actionable financial insights.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,6,0">Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and accountability.</li> <li data-path-to-node="2,7,0">Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering.</li> </ul>
