Role
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting the production processes for 3D Cameras, Controllers, and robotic accessories.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth manufacturing operations, maintaining product quality, coordinating with suppliers, and improving production efficiency to support scalable product delivery.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who is comfortable working across production, suppliers, and logistics in a dynamic robotics environment.
Job responsibilities
Production & Manufacturing Engineering
- Develop, implement, and optimize production and assembly processes for 3D Camera systems and related products.
- Support production setup, including assembly workflows, tooling, and production documentation.
- Monitor production activities and ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
- Continuously improve production efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Mechanical and Quality teams to support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and production readiness.
Supplier & Material Coordination
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Support material readiness planning to meet production schedules.
- Provide technical input and cost estimation during product development and production planning.
Inventory & Production Planning Support
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure materials and finished goods are properly managed.
- Support inventory control activities aligned with production plans.
- Ensure production materials are available and properly tracked.
Logistics & Import/Export Support
- Support import and export activities related to production materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with logistics and documentation requirements.
- Work with logistics partners to support timely shipment of products.
Cost & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing cost and improve production efficiency.
- Support product cost estimation and contribute to production cost reduction initiatives.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Automation Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar position.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and product assembly.
- Experience working with suppliers and production materials.
- Basic understanding of quality control and production workflows.
- Experience supporting import/export or logistics coordination is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, especially with international suppliers.
Preferred
- Prior experience in camera-related industrial product development.
- Prior experience in automation, robotics or robotics-related technologies.
- Proficiency in English communication, especially in listening and speaking.
- Practical experience in controlling and managing material and import export activities.
