About the role
As a Product Design Intern at Eureka Robotics, you’ll contribute to shaping a best-in-class user experience for our software and systems. You will support the design process, help refine user workflows, and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to build, test, and improve applications that delight our users.
You’ll gain hands-on experience shaping the future of High Accuracy – High Agility robotic automation, exploring new product ideas, prototyping interfaces, and supporting research that drives data-informed design decisions.
We are looking for interns who are curious about robotics, passionate about design, and excited to learn in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment. Prior experience in UX/UI is a plus, but enthusiasm, initiative, and a growth mindset matter most.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating design artifacts: personas, journey maps, low- and high-fidelity wireframes, sitemaps, and interactive prototypes.
- Present design concepts to internal teams and incorporate feedback to refine and iterate solutions.
- Support usability evaluation and help track metrics to measure the performance of your designs.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with project goals and technical feasibility.
- Conduct or assist with user research activities—including surveys, interviews, and usability testing—and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
Requirements
Must Have
- Familiarity with UX design processes and proficiency in Figma or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of design systems and exposure to methodologies like Design Sprints or Lean UX (coursework or project experience is acceptable).
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain design ideas to different audiences.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to collaborate with technical teams.
- Positive, proactive attitude with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Good English communication skills (speaking, writing, listening, reading).
- A strong curiosity about emerging technologies and a willingness to learn and engage with new technical concepts
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).

Internship duration
The internship program lasts 4 - 6 months with onsite 32 hours per week.
(This can be adjusted based on the intern's academic schedule).
