We are looking for Financial Controller as pivotal key contributor in Finance and responsible for the integrity of the company's financial reporting, accounting operations, and control environment. This role will ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, drive operational efficiency and serve as a key contributor to leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee all general accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP, as required.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process when necessary.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, providing commentary and insights to senior management and departmental heads.
- Develop financial models and cash flow projections to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Provide actionable financial insights and analysis to department heads and business leaders to support operational decisions, manage spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
3. Compliance, Tax, and Internal Controls
- Ensure full compliance with accounting regulations, and tax filings (e.g., Corporate Tax, GST/VAT).
- Establish, document, and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure effective cash flow management.
Required Experiences & Skills
- Education: Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent (e.g., ACCA) required.
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Minimum of 3+ years in a Financial Controller in IT industry and related company, with a solid understanding of recurring revenue and relevant SaaS metrics.
- Professional Qualification: Recognized professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA is often mandatory or highly preferred.
- Well-versed in professional English
