About the role
The Essay Intern will support the Content Specialist team in drafting and editing Visa Statement of Purposes, University Admission Essays, and Scholarship Letters for students applying for higher education in Australia. The role involves understanding student profiles and assisting in creating personalized, well-structured essay and student goals content.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting Statement of Purpose (SOPs) for:
- Student Visa applications
- University applications
- Scholarship submissions
- Support the content team in writing:
- Letters for visa rejections, academic/medical gaps, and career gaps
- Dependent visa SOPs and request letters (basic assistance level)
- Conduct online research to gather relevant information about:
- Universities, courses, and visa requirements
- Edit and proofread content to ensure:
- Clarity, grammar, and structure
- Plagiarism-free and unique writing
- Adhere to word limits, formats, and tone as per university/visa guidelines
- Coordinate with team members to understand student backgrounds and requirements
Learning & Exposure
- Development of professional, academic writing skills
- Hands-on experience in study abroad essay and Statement of Purpose
- Exposure to Genuine Student Statement (GSS) and Student Services and Visa Frameworks (SSVF)
- Understanding of university-specific SOP requirements
Key Expectations
- Strong written English and communication skills
- Ability to write original, plagiarism-free content
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different writing formats and tones
- Basic research skills using Google and other online sources
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelors in communications or similar.
Please note that this role is 5.5 days work from office.
