Position Description

The Sales Director (SD) is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and operational excellence within the assigned region. Reporting to the Area Business Director (ABD), the SD focuses on executing business development strategies, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring seamless adoption of Carlsmed's innovative solutions across the region. We are seeking candidates in the Texas and Denver areas for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a business plan and set monthly goals that support achieving or exceeding area, regional and company revenue targets. Regularly review regional metrics with the ABD to assess performance and implement adjustments as needed.
  • Execute strategies to establish and expand the sales agent network, including identifying surgeon and account targets, providing training, managing performance, and delivering ongoing field support.
  • Engage directly with surgeons, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders to increase the adoption of the aprevo personalized spine procedure in targeted institutions.
  • Assist in onboarding new sales agents, surgeon customers, healthcare institutions and clinics to ensure the seamless integration of aprevo solutions into their practices and operations.
  • Document all customer interactions and sales activities in alignment with CRM protocols and company guidelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Design Associates in the development of patient-specific surgical plans and devices.
  • Meet training requirements to maintain proficiency in professional selling skills, product knowledge, competitive product insights, and effective time and regional management.
  • Manage regional expense budgets in alignment with expectations outlined by the ABD, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivialent experience.
  • 5+ years of sales representative experience in the spine medical device sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute business development strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of spine procedures and experience providing technical product support in surgical environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices for documenting customer interactions.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time without travel restrictions.

  • Excellent technical and clinical acumen to provide product expertise and support surgical planning.
