Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you will craft compelling, engaging, and educational content for our social media channels to attract, engage, and retain our audience. As a key voice for Bhanzu, you'll translate complex math concepts into relatable, exciting narratives that inspire our community to love learning math.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a results-driven social media content strategy aligned with Bhanzu's brand voice.
  • Write engaging and creative copy for social media posts, campaigns, and ads across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook).
  • Translate complex math topics into easy-to-understand, relatable, and fun content.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing team members to create cohesive, visually appealing social media assets.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate best practices to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Monitor social media performance and audience engagement, using analytics tools to refine strategies and content.
  • Work with the product and content teams to promote new courses, features, and other offerings.
  • Respond to comments and messages to foster a vibrant, supportive online community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a knack for tailoring tone and messaging to various platforms.
  • Familiarity with math concepts and an ability to present them in creative, accessible ways.
  • A solid understanding of social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess content performance and inform strategy.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred. (good to have but not mandatory)
