Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with Automation QA experience of 7+ and at least 3+ years of Performance Testing , including load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in modern performance testing tools, infrastructure capacity planning, and cloud-based performance optimization. Strong analytical skills, scripting capabilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and strategies for web-based applications.
- Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze test results, and recommend optimizations.
- Utilize performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or similar.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to enhance system performance.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts and automation frameworks.
- Set up and configure performance engineering environments and conduct infrastructure capacity planning.
- Perform API performance testing and assess concurrency impacts while simulating real-world data loads.
- Create and manage performance dashboards using logging tools like ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Stay up to date with the latest performance testing trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Performance Test Engineer with Automation QA experience of 7+ and at least 3+ years of Performance Testing for web-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, etc.).
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, response time analysis, and system bottlenecks.
- Experience in any of public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Ability to set up and configure performance testing environments.
- Expertise in infrastructure capacity planning.
- Knowledge of API performance testing and data mocking for concurrency testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated performance testing.
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools like ELK or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (E/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (4-year program required).
- Knowledge of database performance testing.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications is a plus.
- Experience in the FinTech domain is preferred.
