About The Company
Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!
We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.
Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.
Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies.
About The Role
Aspire's Tech org is 100+ people across 10 tribes and 20 squads, shipping the financial operating system for modern businesses across APAC. The systems that hold the org together — Jira, our CRM stack, Confluence, internal workflows, reporting — are critical infrastructure. Right now, they need a dedicated owner who treats them as a craft.
We’re not hiring a typical program manager. We’re not looking for someone to run rituals, move tickets, or wait for instructions. We’re looking for someone who sees a messy system and can’t help but fix it — using tooling, automation, and increasingly AI.
If your instinct is to ask “why does this exist at all?” instead of just “how do I execute this better?”, you’ll likely do well here. This is a hands-on role. You’ll be in the admin panels, not just talking about them.
What You’ll Own
Aspire is at the scale where tooling and operations can no longer be a side-of-desk responsibility.

What You’ll Own
- Systems as products. Jira, CRM, and Confluence aren’t tools you maintain — they’re internal products you own. You’ll manage workflows, schemas, automations, permissions, and structure, with a clear point of view on how they should evolve.
- AI-First Automation & Agent Implementation. Identify high-leverage workflows and replace them with AI-driven solutions — LLM workflows, agents, or automations that remove real manual work. You’ll focus on impact, not experimentation.
- Process design (and deletion). When a workflow is broken, you map how it actually works (not how it’s documented), identify failure points, and fix it — often by simplifying or removing it entirely.
- Reporting and operating cadence. Build dashboards and reporting that leadership actually uses. You instrument the org so delivery, quality, and velocity are visible and actionable.
- Audit Aspire’s Jira setup and rebuild parts that no longer reflect how we work.
- Take ownership of our CRM and rationalise fields, pipelines, and automations.
- Ship multiple workflow improvements that remove meaningful manual work each week.
- Introduce AI-driven automations that increase operational leverage.
- Publish a clear tooling map and roadmap for what we keep, change, or deprecate.
- You’re a builder, not a coordinator - You’ve been the person inside the tools — configuring systems, designing workflows, and fixing messy setups. You don’t just manage people who do the work; you do the work.
- You think in systems - You naturally break problems into inputs, processes, outputs, and failure modes — and instinctively look for leverage. You optimise for outcomes, not activity.
- You’re AI-first in how you solve problems - You’ve built with AI — not just used it. You’ve implemented an automation, agent, or LLM-driven workflow that replaced or significantly improved a real process.
- You have real depth in at least one core system (Jira, Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or equivalent) - You’ve gone beyond basics — custom schemas, complex workflows, automation rules, permission models, and reporting.
- You have strong product and operational judgment - You know when to automate vs simplify, when to build vs not build, and when a system is the problem vs the process. You care about keeping things simple and scalable.
- You communicate clearly in writing - You write docs people actually read and decisions people can act on.
- You’ve driven step-change improvements in how an organisation operates — not just maintained systems. You’ve redesigned workflows or processes that led to clear, measurable gains in productivity, speed, or quality.
- You’re opinionated about how good systems should work, and you’ve successfully pushed through changes that simplified or removed unnecessary complexity.
- You’re deeply into AI as leverage. Not just using tools — you actively explore, experiment, and apply AI (agents, LLM workflows, automations) to rethink how work gets done.
- You’ve built end-to-end automations or system improvements that cut out meaningful manual work across teams, not just within a single tool.
- Experience across multiple systems (CRM + project management + documentation), not just one.
- Fintech or regulated-environment experience.
- Formal Scrum Master or Agile certifications.
- Whether you have an engineering background — we care about systems thinking and execution.
- This role is not running standups or ceremonies.
- Maintaining Jira hygiene without questioning it.
- Acting as a coordination layer between teams.
- Waiting for requirements before acting.
Aspire is at the scale where tooling and operations can no longer be a side-of-desk responsibility.
If This Role Is Done Well
- The org moves faster
- Manual work is significantly reduced
- Decisions are driven by real data
- Systems scale without adding headcount
