About this Role:
Cards are the core growth engine for Aspire - driving spend, customer engagement across our platform. Thousands of businesses across Southeast Asia use Aspire cards every day and we’re scaling rapidly to new geographies, currencies, features and customer segments. This requires deep thinking our card products are built - from issuing infrastructure, partner integrations, internal operations, and card propositions.
As Senior Product Manager, Cards, you will own the strategy, roadmap and execution of Aspire’s card programs end-to-end. This means shaping our multi-geography and multi-currency product vision; leading integrations with card networks, issuer processors, banking partners; and building internal infrastructure that lets us scale reliably. You’ll work hand-in-hand with engineering, design, operations, compliance and commercial teams to ship products that our customers and partners genuinely rely on.
This is a high ownership role at the intersection of product, infrastructure and business.
What you’ll do?
- Own the cards roadmap: Define the product strategy and roadmap for card programs; be accountable for launch and growth performance
- Build and scale issuing infrastructure: Lead integrations with networks, issuers, and processors; ensure reliable authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation at scale
- Own project delivery: Lead complex, cross-functional integrations / initiatives, working collaboratively with product, engineering, operations, compliance and commercial; own delivery timelines and quality
- Own partner relationships: Manage and negotiate with networks, issuers, processors and payment partners
- Build for compliance: Ensure all programs meets the regulatory, scheme and security standards of the markets we operate in
- Be deeply technical and data-driven: Go deep on technical mechanics of card program ; comfortable on technical with engineering
What we are looking for?
Core experience:
- 5+ years as a Product Manager, ideally in cards, fintech, or banking infrastructure
- Track record of owning and scaling a product, not just shipping features
Operator mindset:
- Sharp problem-solving and attention to detail
- Bias to action
- Ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders
Technical depth:
- Strong understanding of system design, SDLC, flows, APIs
- Able to work closely with Product and Engineering and make informed technical decisions
- Solid understanding of AI concepts and experience applying AI tools to monitoring, anomaly detection, risk signals, or operational automation.
Communication:
- Clear, structured communicator with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience launching or scaling card programs (0>1; 1>10) Exposure to multi-geo card programs
- Background in engineering, data or fintech
