About The Company

Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!

We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.

Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.

Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies.

About The Role

Product Marketing Manager (Australia)

Role Summary

Aspire is expanding to Australia, and we’re looking for a high-impact Product Marketing Manager to own the full Marketing GTM for the country.

As the first dedicated PMM for the Australian market, you won’t just be "localising" content; you will be building the foundational engine for our growth. You will own the full Marketing GTM - from deep-dive competitor analysis and local positioning to deciding the optimal channel mix. This is a role for a strategic generalist who thrives in the "zero-to-one" phase and can turn market ambiguity into a clear, winning narrative and marketing outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing GTM Ownership & Launch Execution

  • GTM Architecture: Own the end-to-end Go-to-Market strategy for Marketing for Australia, validating the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and segment priorities.
  • Channel Strategy: Take the lead on Channel Mix decisions. Determine where we play and how we win (e.g., Performance, Partnerships, Content, or Events) to drive efficient CAC.
  • Fast Feedback Loops: Implement agile feedback loops between the local market and HQ. Rapidly synthesize customer insights to inform the product roadmap and directly enhance marketing tactics.

Localised Positioning & Insights

  • Competitive Intelligence: Conduct rigorous research on the Australian fintech landscape (incumbents and neobanks). Map out their weaknesses and define Aspire’s "wedge" in the market.
  • Messaging & Narrative: Craft high-resonance positioning and value propositions specifically for Australian businesses. Move beyond generic features to solve local pain points.

Partnerships Enablement & Asset Creation

  • Content Engine: Develop the "full-stack" of enablement materials including pitch decks, case studies, battlecards, and localized website copy.
  • Commercial Enablement: Partner closely with the Partnerships team to ensure they can confidently articulate our value prop against local competitors.

Cross-Functional GTM Collaboration

  • The "PIC" for Australia: Act as the single point-in-charge (PIC) for the Australian Country Expansion Lead, ensuring Marketing workstreams are in sync with broader GTM motion.
  • Product Influence: Use evidence-led insights from the Australian market to influence the global product roadmap, ensuring we build features that drive local growth.

About You

  • Experience: 4-6 years of PMM experience, with at least 2 years in B2B Fintech or high-growth SaaS.
  • The "Generalist" Mindset: You are comfortable moving from high-level strategy (GTM planning) to hands-on execution (writing a landing page or building a sales deck) in the same afternoon.
  • Local Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Australian business culture and financial ecosystem.
  • Curiosity and passion for AI: You constantly seek to make workflows more efficient and scalable leveraging AI tools / processes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to analyze market trends and channel performance to pivot strategies quickly.
  • Bias for Action: You don’t wait for a playbook; you write it. You are proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and obsessed with clarity.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and keep cross-functional teams aligned under tight deadlines.
