The Company

Arta is on an audacious and incredibly rewarding mission: to pave the way for people everywhere to lead more successful financial lives. Arta leverages AI and sophisticated digital tools—once reserved for ultra-high-net-worth individuals—and makes them accessible to a broader global audience. Think of it as your own digital family office, combining intelligent investment strategies, alternative assets, private market access, and smart automation to help you grow and protect your wealth effortlessly. We value trust, teamwork, and adaptability. Think: intelligent investing, personalized portfolios, and real-time trading, all backed by robust data infrastructure.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Operations function in the US. You will play a key role in building a culture of operational discipline within Arta by managing the team that handles our core operational processes which power the end-to-end user journey of our clients. This includes client onboarding, deposits/withdrawals, trading across all our asset classes and monitoring of account activity. In doing so, you will collaborate with both internal (Customer Success, Product, Compliance, Engineering) and external (broker-dealers, fund managers) stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have an innate curiosity to understand how things work behind-the-scenes and a strong drive for improving processes. They should also be an empathetic mentor who invests in the development of their team members.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coach our US Operations team, ensuring that team goals align with overall company objectives. The US Operations team is lean but drives high impact within the business.

  • Own critical operational processes in the areas of trading (across public/private markets and structured products), reconciliation, onboarding, customer risk assessment, account management and money transfers.

  • Partner with our Operations, Product, Compliance, Customer Success and Engineering teams to anticipate future business needs and develop/enhance key processes. This involves navigating trade-offs across enhancing process efficiency, managing implementation complexity, maintaining robustness through control measures, optimizing the end-user experience and staying compliant with regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate the efforts of internal and external partners to investigate operational issues and implement preventive measures.

Who You Are

  • 6-8+ years of business operations experience in financial services, ideally in the investments space.

  • 2+ years of people management experience.

  • A strategic and hands-on leader who is adept at influencing stakeholders through clear communication.

  • You thrive in a startup-like environment where not everything is black and white. You are comfortable adapting to evolving priorities, navigating ambiguous and complex problem spaces, running experiments, and staying optimistic through change.

  • You have experience designing and implementing end-to-end operational processes with appropriate controls.

  • You are passionate about financial services and technology.

  • Strong understanding of investment operations across various asset classes is a bonus.

  • Proficiency with SQL and setting up AI workflows are a bonus.

  • Location: Based in the Bay area or have plans to relocate to the Bay area
