Your Role

Arta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lead or Director to join our team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our assets under management (AUM) and assets under advisory (AUA) growth, expanding our market reach, and establishing key distribution partnerships within the industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for extending Arta’s distribution reach through partnerships and distribution channels, and leading operations from the NYC area. The person should be excited by selling into new markets, developing partnership strategies, negotiating complex deals and bringing on new Arta members. They will represent Arta’s go-to-market strategy to both prospective and existing clients and partners.

What You Will Do

  • Business Development: Identify and develop relationships with key distribution partners to enhance Arta’s membership growth, product breadth, distribution and reach. Partners may include corporates, alumni clubs and other platforms.

  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish key metrics, monitor sales performance, and provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

  • Collaboration & Cross-functional Support: Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing - to enhance our products and ensure alignment and support for overall company goals.

  • Market Analysis & Insights: stay current on industry trends and customer needs to develop informed strategies.

Who You Are

  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in business development within financial services or wealth management with a track record of success in rolling out new initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant post-graduate degree preferred

  • Strong leadership skills with experience inspiring and leading teams and forging a strategy, while also capable of diving in at an executional level

  • Deep understanding of personal wealth management products, and market dynamics

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking abilities

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies

  • A self-motivated team player who possesses intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, thoughtfulness, high attention to details, with a strong sense of ownership and who is eager to learn and work with others

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Series 65 preferred

  • Based in the NYC area. Remote locations will NOT be considered.

Arta's Compensation Philosophy

We determine your level based on factors including your interview performance, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our offers are based on salary bands that are updated periodically using market benchmarks and consider geographic location as well (for example, higher cost regions like San Francisco or New York). If you are presented with an offer, we will review the base salary, benefits, number of options, notional option value and strike price. We would like to know if you accept our offer within 7 days.

Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.

IC I: $110,000-$180,000
IC II: $160,000-$230,000
IC III: $180,000-$300,000
