Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations & Business Support
- Manage and optimize sales operations processes, including CRM data maintenance, channel management, quote-to-cash workflows, and revenue forecasting.
- Provide data analysis and system support such as pipeline segmentation, forecasting, and sales metric insights.
- Drive sales process improvements, including the development of sales toolkits, playbooks, onboarding, and ongoing training programs.
- Support inside sales activities including drafting and reviewing sales contracts, quotes, project proposals, purchase orders, and statements of work.
- Get hands-on experience with tasks typically handled by sales peers and provide backup for skill gaps currently in the team.
Contract Review & Regulatory/Compliance Support
- Review customer contracts (MSAs, NDAs, SOWs) to identify potential risks and key clauses; collaborate with legal counsel for further evaluation as needed.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities, including renewal notifications, key term compliance, and deliverable tracking.
- Support maintenance of internal quality and regulatory documentation, assisting with document reviews, client responses, and legal/quality audits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure process alignment and effective collaboration.
- Assist with audit preparation, client due diligence, and response to RFP questionnaires.
- Participate in building scalable sales operations infrastructure and process frameworks during company growth.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, preferably in a software company with Software as a Service (SaaS) model, ideally within healthcare, or life sciences.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales automation platforms, and operational dashboards.
- Experience reviewing B2B commercial contracts and understanding of basic legal terms and risk issues.
- Thrives in a dynamic startup environment with fast turnaround demands, flexible working hours, and the ability to take on multiple functions as needed.
- Highly organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with finance or quality frameworks in the life sciences industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; legal, business, or life sciences background preferred.
