Responsibilities
The purpose of the Energy Optimisation Specialist HVAC, is to utilise their technical capability primarily in relation to HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems to identify, develop and deliver energy efficiency solutions, and to develop, refine and utilise data and analytics tools to maximise energy efficiency opportunities for Accacia’s real estate clients.
Development, refinement and utilisation of data and analytics tools to maximise energy efficiency opportunities for Accacia’s real estate clientsAssess and analyze energy consumption in HVAC systems, identifying opportunities for energy optimization and cost reductionDevelop energy management strategies and initiatives to improve system performance and reduce emissionsWork with Product team to productize energy audits and recommendation of energy-efficient solutions such as equipment upgrades, retrofits and control strategies.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify energy-saving technology solutions and devices, and develop frameworks to monitor their effectivenessEvaluate new technologies and devices for HVAC energy optimization and onboard them within Accacia product environmentQualifications
Familiarity with energy management concepts, including energy audits, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainability practicesProficiency in HVAC systems, such as Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC)Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, such as ASHRAE, ANSI, and local building codesProject or energy management certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM) are desirableExperience of 5-8 years working as HVAC systems operator and engineer with atleast 2 years of international markets like Singapore, Dubai, US, CanadaExposure to both air-conditioning and heating systems desirable
