The Role
You will be working directly with the Founders and be part of the Founding Team to craft Accacia’s growth story. We are at an inflection point where regulations and climate concerns are mandating all real estate enterprises to craft their decarbonization strategy. As the Climate Lead, you will be at the forefront of this change in real estate industry.
About The Role (What You'll Do)
Work with Founders to craft an effective and actionable strategy for building our decarbonization platform.
Be the voice of a Trusted Advisor and Domain Expert to our customers and help them craft their decarbonization plans.
Be the voice of the Company for all things climate through your social media activity.
Build and nurture a team of climate experts, along with the intellectual property with data points and LCA studies for real estate sectors
Meet with allied companies and understand solutions to update our decarbonization solution set continuously.
Represent Accacia at Climate industry events
Work closely with the Marketing team to devise content and performance marketing strategy for the company.
Build and retain a world-class climate team per the company’s business plans.
Responsibilities (What we expect)
At least 5 years of experience in climate and decarbonization space with either a top-tier consulting firm or building & leading a corporate decarbonization program
Experience in real estate, building energy management & systems will be a plus.
Deep understanding of GHG and PCAF accounting standards, LCA processes and Emission Factors’ datasets
Executive presence and strategic thinking to represent Accacia in front of leading industry enterprises and at events
